Following in the footsteps of their previous module Chainsaw, Ripsaw produces detuned swarms of seven oscillators around a central pitch, based upon the supersaw sound first heard on Roland's JP-8000. Ripsaw goes a step further with its Shape parameter, blending between sawtooth and square waveforms for more variety. As a four-voice module, Ripsaw is capable of chords and independently moving parts thanks to its four 1V\/Oct inputs, and each voice's oscillators are spread across the left and right outputs for rich stereo imaging.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRipsaw provides a control set that is nearly identical to its predecessor, but offers a few new things to shake things up. The new parameter called \"Shift\" allows for detuned hard-sync sounds—supersync, if you will—further extending Ripsaw's capabilities into new sonic directions.
