ADDAC System ADDAC120MQS
The ADDAC System Quadraphonic System is a full Four Strings Series instrument that is ready for string-by-string sonic experimentation. Easily used for a four-channel quadraphonic piece, this system is also designed to give each string its own independent signal flow for discrete gestures. Included is everything you need to get started: ADDAC120 Headstock & Bridge, ADDAC122 Quadraphonic Pickup, ADDAC124 Plectrums, ADDAC125 Strings Mute, ADDAC126 Rotary Exciter, and ADDAC127 Ebow Slider, all housed in a 197HP ADDAC901M 3U Monster Frame. String up a set of piccolo bass strings and start experimenting with the rich timbres afforded by the generous length of the ADDAC120MQS Strings Monster Quadraphonic System.

HEADSTOCK & BRIDGE
This is the base of our String modules, a Headstock & Bridge
modules, allowing string gauges up to .055. Strings are installed just like any guitar, users are free to choose whichever strings to install and what tuning to use. The headstock features 4 locking tuners for easier string
installation. Users can also make the string holes larger to fit heavier strings. Both panels are 2mm stainless steel for strength.

MODULES BRIEF INTRODUCTION
ADDAC126 ROTARY EXCITER
This module features a 7000 RPM brushless motor that rotates a surface with 4 magnets
with opposed magnetic poles inducing a rotating magnetic field that will force the strings
to vibrate whenever the rotational speed matches the frequency or harmonics of any of the
strings tuning.
ADDAC127 EBOW SLIDER
This module creates a harness and a sliding mechanism for a standard ebow. It allows the
user to slide the ebow back and fourth below the strings. The ebow used features the
“PianoBow” modification (https://ebow.com/diy-mods) where we sand off the Ebow’s feet
so that it can get closer and avoid touching the strings when sliding it back and fourth.
The height of the ebow can be raised or lowered using the four thumb screws.
ADDAC128 FRETS & ADDAC128M MICROTONAL
These module create a freted position anywhere on the frame, it’s placement requires a
tuner to get it to the right position for the intended pitch. Several modules can be placed
for more notes.
ADDAC129 RESONATOR
ADDAC129 expands our Four String Series into a physical resonator.
A vibration speaker slides into the bridge end lever and transports any sound through the
strings which is then captured by the pickup.
The vibration speaker is powered by a small mono amplifier, its input accepts any input
(synth/line). The volume knob attenuates the incoming audio.
ADDAC120PR PALM REST
This module allows the user to rest their palm when fingerpicking the strings.
The module can be placed anywhere on the frame including on top of other modules
